It’s official! Last week, the LA City Council adopted the Council redistricting map, which takes effect on January 1, 2022, and will remain in effect for 10 years. Windsor Square has been moved from Council District 4 to Council District 13. Our new Councilmember will be Mitch O’Farrell, who has represented CD 13 and most of Hollywood for 8 years. He is up for re-election in 2022.

The boundary map for Council District 13 is included below. In addition to Windsor Square, our neighbors in Larchmont Village, Ridgewood-Wilton, Oakwood, We-Wil and St. Andrews Square will also be moving to Council District 13. We will join Hollywood and parts east in CD 13. The rest of our local Greater Wilshire community, including Hancock Park, Fremont Place, Brookside, Wilshire Park, Windsor Village and others, will move to CD 5. None of us will remain in CD 4.

Shortly after the New Year (2022!), Windsor Square Association will host a Zoom session for all of Windsor Square to welcome Mitch O’Farrell and his team. Stay tuned for your invitation!
