Windsor Square Parkway Trees
Summer is here so don’t forget to water your recently planted parkway trees. Also, do not allow weed whackers, lawn mowers and other tools to ever touch the trunks of your young trees. A small cut or bruise to the trunk from one of these tools can kill your new trees, as can be seen from a few examples in our neighborhood. Keep a grass-free well around your trees.
Do not remove or plant trees without first consulting Windsor Square Canopy. Canopy will arrange the entire process for you. If you are in a particular hurry please contact as soon as possible. It is illegal to remove or plant trees without a city permit. It is also illegal to plant a non-designated tree at any time.

LAPD “Community Alert System” and “Crime Map”
WSA Public Security Committee chair, Larry Guzin reports the LAPD Wilshire Division “Community Alert System” now provides timely e-mail messages containing information on neighborhood crime.
Windsor Square residents who wish to receive these messages should contact Senior Lead Officer David Cordova at (213) 793-0650 or 31646@lapd.lacity.org to enroll.
Additional neighborhood crime information may be obtained from LAPD’s “Crime Map” at http://www.lapdcrimemaps.org/.
WSA welcomes new board members
The Windsor Square Association thanks Jill Galloway for her contributions as a Director on the WSA Board. We welcome Debbie Hassan of Lucerne Blvd, Harry Olivar of Arden Blvd. and Seth Kaplan of Gower Street who are filling the board vacancies.
